If you hear a whistle — listen.
Our organization is launching a Whistle Campaign to help protect LGBTQ+ people walking home, heading to their vehicles, or leaving events.
A whistle is simple.
But it carries a powerful message:
If you hear a whistle being blown, someone nearby may need help. Look toward the sound.
Stay aware.
Call for help if needed.
This idea echoes a tradition from queer communities decades ago—when safety meant neighbors showing up for each other.
Because no one in our community should have to walk alone in fear.
When one of us calls out, we answer.
We show up for our community.
