THE SCHISM: A New House Forms…
The Denver House of Perpetual Joy is an independent, unaffiliated community entity operating separately from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence at this time. While we are deeply inspired by the mission, values, and history, we are not a trademarked House and do not currently hold the authority to use that terminology. We are NOT the Golden Nugget Sisters, the Sisters of Perpetual Joy, or the Sisters of Joy. We ARE, The House or The Denver House of Perpetual Joy. We chose not to include a gender in our organization name, because our House is full of different identities and backgrounds.
Our work in the Denver Metro Area is guided by the spirit of joy, service, visibility, and compassion, values that transcend any single organization. The Denver House of Perpetual Joy emerged from community roots, shared service, and lived experience, and continues forward as its own expression of the mission. We honor where we come from while standing clearly in who we are today.
Once a Sister, Always a Sister, and Joy remains our calling.

Rogue Nuns of the Rockies
After breaking off from the Golden Nugget Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence earlier this week, the Rogue Nuns of the Rockies were born. And a merry band of Sisters, a Brother and a Father decided to continue spreading JOY to the community at Li’l Devils Lounge.

Transgender Day of Remembrance
The Metropolitan Community Church of the Rockies, and transgender community leaders organized a TDOR program with a candlelight walk led by Sister CasKara. The Church also invited Denver District Attorney John Walsh to speak, alongside District 9 Council member Darrell Watson.
Sister CasKara took the time to collect the names and photos of those who passed away due to a variety of causes in 2025, and the MCC provided the tables and cloth for the altar.

World AIDS Day
For the third year in a row, Park Hill United Methodist Church invited the Sisters to participate in their World AIDS Service & Solidarity Walk.
But this year, the Rogue Nuns of the Rockies, and Sister Bae’l from the Golden Nugget Sisters were in attendance. As always, they had a wonderful service and we look forward to continuing to work with the church in the future.
Park Hill United Methodist Church asked Sister CasKara to create a banner, inspired by the AIDS Quilt to be used in future World AIDS Day services.
A red jacquard banner and in gold lettering, “The Names We Carry” for the community to write the names of their loved ones onto fabric hearts.

No One Should Be Hungry, Period
Brother Jeff’s Cultural Center organized their Annual MLK Day Pantry and Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria suggested we volunteer together at this community event.
The Denver House of Perpetual Joy was doing just that, spreading JOY on MLK Day, while helping prepare over 350 free meals!
Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria came earlier to help prepare meals, and Sister Poly Nator was helping with mobile deliveries. While Father Fukkit and Brother Ob Noxious were serving meals to the community. And Sister CasKara made a mistake, they wore their chefs coat and they were sent to the grill to help boil hundreds of pounds of potatoes for the mashed potato station. Don’t show them another potato for a year!

May Lil Devil’s Lounge continue to be a refuge for the weary, a playground for the bold, and a sacred stop on the pilgrimage of nightlife.

BINGO JOY with the CYCLE SLUTS
The Denver House of Perpetual Joy were present at the monthly bingo for charity at Brewability with the Denver Cycle Sluts. Raising money for an organization called Rocky Mountain Riders. The House was helping with echoing the numbers as they were called and Sister CasKara had Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria and Brother Ob Noxious help them sell tickets for the drawing. The House enjoyed spreading joy, while having a fabulous night together.

Thursday evening The Denver House of Perpetual Joy attended the Celebration of Life for local performer Abby at the Metropolitan Community Church of the Rockies.
We arrived early to help set up the reception, and then we attended the service where community members and friends spoke about the memories they shared with Abby. They will be missed deeply.

Bar Ministry
Following the Memorial service for Abby, The Denver House of Perpetual Joy went to the bars on Colfax to spread some joy, after grieving with the community.
Our first stop was Buddies, where we did a toast to Abby and spread some joy to the patrons that night. We laughed and we blessed the bartenders and each table. And we ran into a gentleman who lost his friend that day. He cried with us. This moment reminded us of the importance of our work in the community as we provide hope, comfort, and joy to the people, said Father Fukkit.
After that, we headed over to X BAR to see what was happening on a Thursday night. A couple asked us to be their backup dancers for the song they were lip syncing to, Lady Gaga’s Shallow. And we shared indulgences, and blessings to everyone at the bar, spreading joy to the community.

JOYFUL Remembrance at King of Hearts
The annual King of Hearts event for the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire was held this weekend. Brother Ob Noxious and Sister CasKara attended on behalf of The Denver House of Perpetual Joy.
King of Hearts traditionally honors the Emperor’s Line. This year, however, the evening centered on remembering the late Emperor 52, Ed Kastler, the Court’s first straight, ally Emperor, whose impact on the community was deeply felt and lovingly honored.
Nungratulations to Empress 52 Zoey Diddim and the Board of Directors for a successful King of Hearts! Emperor 51 Roger Cornejo Monroe did a wonderful job with organizing this years King of Hearts! Thank you!
During the event, PR 51 Cubby announced his candidacy for Emperor 53. Voting for the next Reign will take place at The Center on Colfax on Saturday, March 28, from 11am to 5pm. Community members who live north of Castle Rock and south of the Colorado/ Wyoming border are eligible to vote.

After spreading JOY at two concurrent events, “The King of Hearts” and “StageFluid’s Black History Month Celebration” this merry band of Sisters, a Brother and a Father reunited at XBAR.
We gave the community glitter blessings, we pre-forgave their sins, some stroked the crystal shaft, and we encouraged the sheNUNigans of horny XBAR people, while spreading JOY to ALL!

WHISTLE CAMPAIGN.
After a lot of discussion and not a lot of action, and after almost 9 months, The Denver House of Perpetual Joy finally launches its first “pack” to hand out to the community.
These safety packs have a whistle and a card with important information.
Add that whistle to your keyring, turn it into a necklace, or add it to a wristband. So you will always be safe!
And then on Saturday March 14, 2026, The Denver House of Perpetual Joy began sharing whistles at a Parasol Patrol in Denver, and at Charlie’s Denver a gay bar.

Shielding CommUNITY at Drag Queen Story Hour
Sister CasKara, Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria and Brother Ob Noxious attended Parasol Patrol at the Woodbury Library in Denver, CO. We showed up to support our community and helped shield families from potential protesters.
Brother Ob Noxious was spreading joy, by showing off his new three ball juggling tricks. And we were spreading JOY with all who attended Parasol Patrol, and we supported local Saints.
This morning, we also launched our WHISTLE Campaign, and began distributing whistles to the community.

DRAG, INITIATIVES, & VARIETY AWARDS.
Last year, 2025, Jessica l’Whor reached out and asked if the Sisters would be interested in giving a blessing for the DIVA’s after attending an award ceemony in Los Angeles and witnessing the powerful message that the Los Angeles Sisters presented. So, for the 7th Annual Colorado DIVA’s, we returned for a group blessing at Meow Wolf Denver, Convergence Station. Everyone mentioned that we really set the tone for the entire award show. We were spreading joy to the community, we walked around the Convergence Station and we handed out our whistles to all who attended.

A Day of HOPE and JOY!
We stopped by to Spread JOY to the Caravan Of Hope, who arrived at The Center to offer free legal services tor the LGBT+ communities.
Many folks got name change support, legal counseling and documents notarized by the caravan who is traveling to 17 cities across America throughout the month of March.
While spreading JOY, Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria, Brother Ob Noxious and Father Fukkit handed out free safety whistles to everyone!!

NO KINGS PROTEST.
The Denver House of Perpetual Joy as a House, attended the No Kings Protest in Denver, by request of the organizers.
We wandered around the Rally, checking out the vendors, and we passed out our whistles.
We were chanting and we were marching as leaders in our community.
Sister Pene Pasta Cacchiatoria, Sister Poly Nator, Brother Ob Noxious and Sister CasKara were in attendance.
We were also interviewed by a local podcast and a Boulder Radio Station who were in attendance.

Bar Ministry & Community Joy
Following the No Kings Protest, Sister Poly Nator, Brother Ob Noxious, and Sister CasKara decided to make a stop at Buddies and bless the community this warm and sunny day! We offered glitter blessings, had a drink and a bite, we passed out our whistles and had conversations with our Denver community.
Then Sister CasKara and Brother Ob Noxious went to XBAR to kill some time, and hand out more whistles, offer glitter blessings and talk to the community before heading down to the Creepatorium to watch a group of clowns perform!

The Denver House of Perpetual Joy attend the Four Corners Empire Investiture at Charlie’s Denver, where they crowned their new Emperor and raised money for charity.
Their Absolute Emperor Jose invited The Denver House of Perpetual Joy to offer a blessing. Both Father Fukkit and Sister CasKara shared a group blessing, with Sister Poly Nator as in attendance.

The House of Perpetual Joy was at the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire PR Ball last night, volunteering at the entry door, greeting attendees from across the country. Last night was a celebration for the PR’s for Reign 52, with performances by the former PR’s of ICRME.

Sister CasKara and Brother bOb Noxious were there, and we were also joined by Aspirant Amity, whose drag name is Sister Luci Ferocious. She isn’t a Sister yet, but she wants to become an official one someday! We look forward to watching you grow throughout your journey with us!

Easter Weekend JOY & Blessings
Sister Poly Nator and Father Fukkit spreading Easter Weekend JOY and glitter blessings at Charlies, Denver Needz, the XBAR, Buddies and a car show along East Colfax Avenue.
Sister Poly Nator and Father Fukkit also blessed the Celebration of Life fundraiser for Melissa Balderrama, the sister of our beloved Isaiah Anthony Sexton, at Charlie’s.
Good afternoon all and welcome. I am Sister Poly Nator and this is Father Fuckkit, and we are with the Denver House of Perpetual Joy.
We are gathered here to honor and celebrate a life that leaves an empty space longing for something to fill it. We are here to fill that space with love, music, dance and laughter.
We come together in love and support, because community is our super power. We embrace love. We hold each other close. We lean into into hope. And in saddest, we seek joy. As a community, we are unstoppable.
Love recognizes love, joy recognizes joy, and as a community, we have a lot of both!!
So let’s please take this moment to celebrate the life of Melissa, support her family and show the world how much love we have for each other and how much that really does matter.

ICRME Coronation 53
Another Reign has passed, Nungratulations to Absolute Emperor 53 Cubby, may you have a successful Reign.
Last night at Coronation 53 there was a lovely memorial for the late Emperor 52 Ed Kastler who passed away shortly after becoming Emperor. A beautiful and powerful display, with every monarch in attendance leaving a white rose in a vase. With a powerful performance by past Emperor’s.
Nungratulations to the first 50 year anniversary Empress for the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire, Empress 2, Scottie Carlyle. Thank you for 50 years of advocation, activism, and fundraising for our community!

Dia de Los Ninos.
The Corte Imperial, Four Corners Empire organized a Children’s Day event at the Highlands United Methodist Church. They had Martinez Mobile Dental giving free dental cleaning, Chattrick Von Squish was teaching kids how to make balloon animals, Grupo Azteca Huitzilopochtli performed, and Sister CasKara had a Story Hour.
We had fun as a House, spreading joy, and the best part of the day was watching the kids go to town on an indestructible pinata! Sister Poly Nator almost became the pinata a few times!

Colorado Leather Contest & Bar Ministry
The House of Perpetual Joy was invited by Mr Leather Colorado 2024 Hunter Nelson to bless the Leather Contest Friday night at the Denver Eagle, led by Father Fukkit and with a remembrance for former Mr Leather Colorado 2013, Lonnell, who passed away earlier that week.
After the first day of the Leather Contest, we made our way over to the R&R Lounge to support of Brother bOb Noxious at work. The night was full of joy and glitter blessings to the community!

The House of Perpetual Joy attended the Investitures for Reign 53 for the Imperial Court of the Rocky Mountain Empire. Sister CasKara was originally named Royal Officiant to Reign 53, but that will change to… The Denver House of Perpetual Joy will be known as Royal Officiants to Reign 53! Nungratulations to Reign 53!
We shared our whistles with the community at both Charlie’s & XBAR and gave the community glitter blessings. And wile killed some time on TikTok Live with Brother bOb Noxious before heading to the second day of the Leather Colorado Contest.

A Day of Joyful Care: For the Denver Unhoused
Saturday May 9th at the Charlie’s Denver Parking Lot our Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria presented their Novice Project for the Denver Unhoused.
A big thank you to our host, Charlies Nightclub Denver for letting us use part of your parking lot, early Saturday morning until 2pm. Brother bOb Noxious and Sister CasKara arrived early to clean up the parking lot and set up coffee for the early birds, before we started setting up the Giveaways!
Thank you to the organizations who showed up to support the Denver Unhoused! Thank you Purple Mountain Recovery for bringing water, narcan and resource information. And thank you I Support The Girls for bringing menstrual hygiene products and more in the Bra Faerie!
Thank you to our amazing House and all of our Volunteers! Thank you Faelight Foundation for sending Vee and Justin! Thank you Heather and Eli from Parasol Patrol! Thank you Pup Baymax, Victor and Juan-Carlos for volunteering with us! These amazing people were immensely helpful with organizing the clothing donations and manning our booths while we walked up and down Colfax handing out food, water and socks!

A Fully Professed Elevation
After completing their Novice Project and after a year of active membership we elevated Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria to Full Profession. The first elevation of its kind for The House of Perpetual Joy, shared with the community following the fundraiser show held by Corte Imperial Four Corners Empire at Charlie’s Nightclub Denver.
