Whistle Campaign.
After a lot of discussion and not a lot of action, and after almost 9 months, The Denver House of Perpetual Joy finally launches its first “pack” to hand out to the community.
These safety packs have a whistle and a card with important information.
Add that whistle to your keyring, turn it into a necklace, or add it to a wristband. So you will always be safe!

And then on Saturday March 14, 2026, The Denver House of Perpetual Joy began sharing whistles at a Parasol Patrol in Denver, and at Charlie’s Denver a gay bar.

A Day of Joyful Care:
For the Denver Unhoused.
Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria presented their Novice Project, Saturday May 9, 2026 at the Charlie’s Denver Parking Lot.
Thank you to our HOST, Charlie’s Nightclub Denver for letting us use half of your parking lot!
Thank you to community members for their food, water & toiletries donations, including Brigid, Ima & Mae from the Denver Cycle Sluts, Phyllis from Majestic Hearts Pageantry, Sister CasKara & Sister Pene Pasta Cachiatoria.
Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, including, Pup Baymax, Victor, Heather & Eli from Parasol Patrol, Juan-Carlos, and Vee & Justin from Faelight Foundation. Thank you for keeping the clothing station organized, and watching our “home base” as we filled carts and passed out water, food and socks to the Unhoused on Colfax. If they weren’t coming to us, we came to them!
And, thank you to the organizations who came out early Saturday morning for our first event. Thank you Purple Mountain Recovery for bringing water, NARCAN and resources! Thank you Parasol Patrol for escorting The House around Colfax as we all passed out water, food and socks to the Unhoused! Thank you I Support The Girls for bringing menstrual hygiene products! And, a BIG thank you to Park Hill United Methodist Church for preparing and donating 100 ham & cheese sandwiches, with fruit, water and toiletries in each bag!
