Brother Ob Noxious is a newer member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence who began clowning in June 2025 as an act of joyful resistance. Through unapologetic self-expression, humor, and public performance, he uses clowning as a way to spread joy, challenge shame, and encourage others to embrace their most authentic selves. His work centers playfulness as a form of care, connection, and quiet rebellion.

Brother Ob Noxious does not adhere to a single religious tradition. His spiritual framework is rooted in mysticism and curiosity, drawing from Christo-pagan, Buddhist, and Hindu influences. His practice emphasizes compassion for others, introspection, and an openness to continual learning and spiritual exploration.

- The Collective Scream: A communal ritual designed to acknowledge shared stress, grief, and collective fatigue. Participants gather and begin with a brief moment of silence to honor personal and communal losses. This is followed by a collective scream or shared noise-making as a cathartic release, allowing participants to safely and intentionally dispel frustration, tension, and emotional weight in a supportive group setting.
